Hello!!
Almost exactly a year later, here I am again! It really does seem like my creativity only blossoms in October, or during spooky season in general. That’s definitely something I need to work on hehe.
BUT! I’m coming to you with some changes. First thing’s first; the hair. I’ve had the same hair for three years and I was SO ready for a change, so of course I bought some dark brown hair color and dyed it myself. Video on that process is in… well, process :p I didn’t regret it at any point in time, and now I honestly feel like I should’ve been a brunette all along. It definitely feels more like me! Yay!
This won’t be a big update entry or anything, it’s just me saying hi and that I’m back to making content. I’m actually filming a video tomorrow! The script for that is something I’ve been working on for a couple of days now because it’s a new concept I’m brewing up.
I’m going to start making REAL movie reviews! 🤩
It’s visual content, so I’m going to film myself talking and hopefully be able to convey my thoughts properly. I’ve been thinking about this for the longest time because I loooove talking about movies and discuss them to bits, and what better way to do that than to ramble to a camera for an unknown period of time. And! If I’m lucky, some people might actually find it interesting too! As a former film student, I absolutely adore writing longer and in depth texts about movies and if/why/how the themes in them come through. This won’t apply to ALL movies I see of course, but I knew I wanted to delve deeper into the matter of this movie in particular already in the beginning of the second act.
I won’t reveal which movie I’m going to talk about, but just know that it’s BRAND NEW and not available to the public until November 8th. The essay will be uploaded to Youtube, but I’m also thinking of releasing it here for people to read. I like the idea of using the blog as an extension to the Youtube channel!
So tomorrow is going to be a day filled with camera stuff, editing and probably a sore throat from talking too much. And I can’t WAIT!! I even have a reward for myself at the end of the day; seeing Smile 2, which I’m pretty excited about. I wasn’t blown away by the first one, but definitely entertaining. And this time I’m going to the movies all by myself. Which we all know is a great idea considering watching a horror movie in a dark movie theater is peaceful and not at all stressful 😇 highkey so excited to be scared I’m CRAVING it
Anyway! I’m going to tweak some things on my script and then hopefully I’ll have the video up in not too long. I’m so happy I’m finally taking the plunge and start going even deeper into the movies I love! Or hate. You can say equally – if not more – about that. Spoiler: this movie is in my top ten favorite movies of all time now ops
