Spooked to meet ya! You’re probably very new to me and my blog, so let me clear up the immediate confusion that is the title to this post. My name is Frida. I’m a Norwegian spooky writer and podcaster, and the reason why you might not have understood much of what I’ve posted up until now is because it’s all, well, in Norwegian. But now I’ve decided to switch it up and produce English content as well!
I’ve written several short stories over the years that I have published here, and some of them I’ve even made into spooky audiobooks – over at my podcast. Everything there is still in Norwegian, but I’m hoping I’ll get around to translate some of them into English as well. I really feel like I have something here that you’d enjoy, if you’re a horror obsessed person like me. Or if you’re just interested in seeing how I tackle the very uncertain, yet endlessly exciting hope I have for a life where I can live off of what is mere hobbies – as of right now ❤️
So! Some of my short stories will soon be in English, and the first one will be out super soon!
I will continue to write on my bigger stories behind the scenes. I’m very excited about the things I’m currently writing on, and I’m going to share bits and pieces from that in the not so distant future. I’ve actually made a Youtube channel and I’m planning on using it for everything I love creatively, from writing, movies and podcasting.
By the way; the two main stories I’m working on right now are VERY different. One is about a haunted horror hotel and the other one is a fantasy novel I first came up with the idea for way back in 2013 haha! Being diverse as a creative person is pretty crucial, and I love being able to jump from one project to something else entirely when I feel stuck. By giving my head a conscious break from one story and deep dive into another one, I always come back stronger! I’ve also decided that the endless stream of story ideas I have will be perfect for a short story collection. So that’s also something that’s in the works!
